Children's Chinese Calligraphy Workshop in Lefkada

On 15 December, a unique Chinese calligraphy workshop was held for the young students of the 2nd Primary School of Lefkada, as part of the Christmas Bazaar organized by the School's Parents & Guardians Association.
Chinese teacher Ms Liu Xuejiao of the Intercultural Institute of Lefkada taught the students how to write simple Chinese characters on rice paper using traditional brushes and ink in a three-hour workshop attended by around 70 children.
In addition, Chinese language classes will begin in January 2025 for younger students. The Maritime Silk Road Society provided the workshop materials.
