Big event at Guangxi Weizhuang Group

I was pleased and honour to have the opportunity to participate this significant big event at GuangXi Weizhuang Group during my internship. The event was a press conference which was witnessing the release of the future tallest building in Nanning. The building, Guangxi Financial Centre was invested by my internship company and cooperated with GuangXi Financial Investment Group where located in the core ASEAN business circle and Nanning centre. The conference represented the future international development of GuangXi under “the belt and the road” strategy. Therefore, this big event was highly valued by Nanning government and the press.
The event was organized in Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Centre on 4 of August from 7pm to 10pm. I was arranged to be one of the member of etiquette group and guide the guests to their seats. Even though it was not an important position for me, it was a precious moment for me as an intern to witness a big event like this and learn to collaborate with my co-workers from many and different departments. All the staffs were gathered at 10am and prepared for the arrangement. I used to be the committee member of my major society so that I had some experiences of organizing activities similar to the event. Nonetheless, it was the first time for me as an official activity in my working life. I still could remember how nervous I was on that day.
The event was divided into three parts which were the performances, signing contracts with other companies and the conference of future development of Nanning. I was impressed of the grand opening and decoration. There were plenty of supermodels welcoming the valuable guests. Three of them dressed up as the representatives of Thailand, Zhuang people (the famous ethnic group in GuangXi) and nobility in Europe. I believed that they represented the link between the countries of ASEAN. Besides, the high technology that the ceremony used has surprised me. Multiple VCR using and robot’s presentation showed the advanced technology and development in Nanning, rising the international image of Guangxi Weizhuang Group. The event was perfectly finished after the end of fashion walk performance. All supermodels wore a series of designs by local fashion designer and showed the golden style of the building.
I was blessed to meet nice colleagues in this company. They offered guidances to me all the time. Even I was extremely exhausted after the ceremony and they were still giving comforts to me by wechat. The internship was delightful, amazing experience.
