I am more than grateful for this opportunity from Euroterra Capital to work at the intersection of international client communication and luxury properties.

In this internship experience, I contributed to bridging communication and expectations between the Greek office and international clients, translating during immigration processes and property viewings, also inspecting the building progress of various company projects, making sure I understood each party’s concerns and perspectives to go forward in each project. These experiences strengthened my ability to consider the diverse needs of clients and provided them with the best solution, my attention to detail on coordinating a project accurately and understanding the characteristics of different properties during inspection trips.

Working in Athens has proved to be one of the most challenging yet rewarding experiences. I had to navigate a new city almost on my own with a language barrier. Despite these hurdles, I created a conducive environment for clients to understand features and advantages of our properties during sales and viewings, which developed my client-facing communication. More importantly, working despite urgency with several stakeholders honed my organisation skills and provided quality results under pressure

I was constantly prepared to accept new challenges, whether it was to film and edit videos of the company’s footage and surroundings, learning the needs and concerns of each prospective buyer and finding the property most suitable to them, or to help clients navigate through unfamiliar paperwork or local bureaucracy. All of these taught me to adapt to local procedures quickly and to create alternatives when initial plans could not work out.

An early experience that shaped my approach to work involved supporting a site-inspection task. Since two company projects were located on the same street, I initially documented the wrong site despite confirming with a contractor that I had arrived at a company location. Once I recognised the issue, I proposed revisiting the correct site that same day. The experience taught me that initiative must be paired with making sure the exact location, contact person, scope, and expected outcome.

Despite this, I felt fulfilled because of the relationships I built with colleagues and clients. A lot of moments such as being complemented by colleagues on a video well made, clients acknowledged my ability in highlighting the advantages of the property neighbourhood according to their requirements

These lessons not only changed how I handle tasks with urgency in an unfamiliar environment, as accurate work not only depends on translating words or completing a request quickly, but also on confirming the intended audience, requirements, and future action.

As I move forward, I will bring this experience into future opportunities in international marketing and public relations. I would like to thank the Euroterra Athens team for your guidance.
