Seminar on "Fostering Harmonious Relations - How Can Hong Kong Become a Mediation Centre?"

In order to help the public better understand the perceivable benefits brought by the establishment of the International Organization for Mediation in Hong Kong, the Maritime Silk Road Society has invited Mr Denys Look, President of Hong Kong Mediation Alliance and Director of Professional Mediation Consultancy Centre, to share his insights in his presentation. The Hong Kong Mediation Alliance was the supporting Organization.
Mr Look outlined the key points of mediation, the development of mediation in Hong Kong, the professionalism of mediators, and the mediation techniques that should be applied at the appropriate time towards establishing positive thinking and a harmonious society. He also cited the Singapore Convention on Mediation and the Charter of the United Nations as examples to explain how to resolve international commercial disputes and conflicts.
