“European Language Day” in Lefkada, Greece

On 5 October, the “European Language Day” in Lefkada, Greece was a total success in encouraging local people to learn more languages. Ms Ioanna Filippa, Cultural Consultant of the Maritime Silk Road Society, was responsible for the introduction of European and non-European languages; Ms Liu Xuejiao was in charge of the introduction of Chinese language and the provision of experience in calligraphy writing, while the Maritime Silk Road Society sponsored the stationery for the writing session. Many students came to meet the Chinese teacher and lined up for a hands-on experience in writing Chinese calligraphy.
