Joint Webinar: Free Talk on “Tea Culture and Health“ for the first time

For the first time, the Maritime Silk Road Society and Chinese Tea Culture International Exchange Association joined hands in organizing The Webinar: Free Talk on “Tea Culture and Health“ on 28 August. With Ms Mavis Li, Deputy Secretary-General of Chinese Tea Culture International Exchange Association as the speaker, the event was attended by around 50 participants.
The Talk covered about the origin of tea, the nutrition of tea, and daily healthy tea drinking. Ms Li answered the participants' questions in details, such as explaining the functions of tea polyphenols, comparing the effects of cold brewing tea and hot tea, and the effects of drinking different kinds of tea, so that participants can learn more about the characteristics of different kinds of tea and the advantages of drinking tea, including health strengthening and lifestyle enriching.
