MSRS Office Bearers met with Dr Shi Yulong

Mrs Regina Ip, Co-chair of Maritime Silk Road Society (MSRS), hosted a luncheon on 16 October in honour of Dr Shi Yulong, Chief Officer of China Center for Development of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC). Dr Shi, who is also Honorary Advisor of Maritime Silk Road Society, met with MSRS office bearers to share his views on the Belt and Road Initiative.

During the meeting, Mrs Ip said that she was appreciative that Dr Shi could spend time to meet with MSRS representatives amid his hectic schedule featuring speaking engagement in Hong Kong.

Mrs Ip also briefed Dr Shi the background and organization structure of MSRS as well as major activities and programmes targeting youth in Hong Kong.

Dr Shi took the opportunity to outline the work of National Development and Reform Commission and the latest development of the Belt and Road Initiative.
