Mrs Regina Ip Attended 2026 Guangxi-Hong Kong Investment Promotion Conference 2026

On 26 February, Mrs Regina Ip, Convenor of Hong Kong Executive Council and Co-Chair of the Maritime Silk Road Society, attended the Guangxi-Hong Kong Investment Promotion Conference 2026 held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Themed on the region's role in connecting with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), the event was hosted by Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region’s Hong Kong & Macao Affairs Office to fully align with the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao GBA, expand practical cooperation between Guangxi and Hong Kong in various domains, jointly build an important node and hub for the domestic and international dual circulation, and explore mutually beneficial development opportunities.

The Chief Executive of HKSAR, Mr John Lee and Secretary of the CPC Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Committee, Mr Chen Gang officiated at the conference which also encompassed presentations, contract-signing and networking opportunities thus creating a lively and spectacular scene.
