Mrs Regina Ip Met with Turkish Consul General

On 18 January, Mr Kerim Sercan Evcin, Consul General of Türkiye visited MSRS Co-Chair Mrs Regina Ip at the LegCo Building. Mr Evcin has assumed duty in Hong Kong a few months ago. Mr Evcin and Mrs Ip exchanged views on Türkiye's cooperation with China and Hong Kong in economics, trade, tourism, culture, innovation & design and the Belt and Road Initiative. Mr Evcin expressed wishes to work with MSRS in propelling collaboration and to promote "people-to-people connectivity". Mrs Ip also informed Mr Evcin that MSRS planned to organize a cultural tour to Türkiye later this year to strengthen exchanges between two places.
