MSRS Delegation Participated in China Investment Forum 2015 in Prague

　　Mr. Samuel Sit, Director of the Federation of HK Jiangsu Community Organizations and Chief Executive of Value Realty Ltd, led a Maritime Silk Road Society (MSRS) 17-member delegation to Prague, Czech Republic for the China Investment Forum on 9 November.

　　This forum, entitled “New Silk Road of the 21st Century – One Belt, One Road Initiative: Challenges and Opportunities”, was held at Prague Castle. Mr. Miloš Zeman, President of Czech Republic; Mr. Bohuslav Sobotka, Prime Minister of Czech Republic; Mr Lubomír Zaorálek, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Czech Republic; and Mr. Du Qinglin, Secretary of the Secretariat of the Communist Party of China and Vice-chairman of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, greeted the participants at different occasions.

　　During the three-day visit, the delegation attended various discussion sessions on topics such as finance, commerce, investment trading and tourism, and exchanged views on economic developments in the bilateral conversion and thematic round table conference with other participants from all parts of the world.

　　On 9 November, Mr. Ye Jianming, Chairman of China CEFC Energy Company and Special Advisor of MSRS, hosted a luncheon at CEFC European Headquarters for forum participants, including Mr. Samuel Sit and Ms. Helena Wai, Advisor of MSRS and Vice Chairman of CLSA Ltd.

　　Mr. Samuel Sit thanked CEFC for inviting the delegates to Prague and said that this inspiring forum brought him not only new insights but also new partners under “the Belt and Road Initiative”. He also encouraged Hong Kong enterprises to broaden their vision by participating in this Initiative.
