Maritime Silk Road Society Participated in Empathy Foundation Limited’s Tai Po Visit

Empathy Foundation Limited hosted the Tai Po Historical, Cultural and Farm Visit on 31 July with an aim to enhance South Asian Youth and Student’s understanding of the local history and culture. The trip included Tai Po Waterfront Park, Wun Yiu Exhibition and Archaeological Site, Fan Sin Temple, BBQ Party and The Mills.

Empathy Foundation Limited’s Chairman Ms Bernadette Wong said that the objective of the Foundation is to assist the ethnic minorities in Hong Kong to get to understand Hong Kong and blend into society. Empathy Foundation Limited’s Founder, Mr Jimmy Baljinder, hopes that South Asians living in Hong Kong, apart from establishing firmly in the city, can also access to opportunities to go to the Mainland such as the Greater Bay Area for cultural exchange and employment, or even as entrepreneurs.

Maritime Silk Road Society’s Executive Director, Ms Wendy Tsang was invited to attend the event. Apart from introducing MSRS’s main projects and its summer internship programme, she also gave souvenirs from the Society to all participants.

China Metropole International Travel Service Company Limited was a supporting organization and one of the sponsors of the event.
