Mrs Regina Ip attended 2021 Symphony Concert for Centennial Footprint in Hong Kong

2021-06-25

On June 25, Mrs Regina Ip, Co-chair of the Maritime Silk Road Society (MSRS), was invited by the Hong Kong Wenchang Community Association (Hong Kong Wenchang Natives Association) to attend the Symphony Concert featuring the Greater Bay Philharmonic Orchestra in Hong Kong. MSRS is a supporting organization of this event.

The concert was organized to celebrate the centennial of the Chinese Communist Party, the 24th anniversary of the establishment of HKSAR, and the inauguration of the 4th Board of Directors of the Hong Kong Wenchang Community Association (Hong Kong Wenchang Natives Association). The officiating dignitaries included Ms Fu Wenjing, President of the Hong Kong Wenchang Community Association (Hong Kong Wenchang Natives Association); Mr Tam Yiu-chung, Executive Member of the National People's Congress Standing Committee; Mr Jack Chan, Under Secretary for Home Affairs and Mrs Regina Ip.

In her speech, Mrs Regina Ip pointed out that benefiting from the strength of the motherland and leadership of the Chinese Communist Party, Hong Kong will continue to be prosperous and stable, harnessing the opportunities of the Greater Bay Area internally, and contributing to the development of the “Belt & Road” Initiative externally. She encouraged Hong Kong youth to take advantage of the prosperous development in the Greater Bay Area and to integrate into our nation.
