Russian Language & Culture Preliminary Exploration

The Russian Language & Culture Preliminary Exploration, organized by the Maritime Silk Road Society, has started on 5 June. Participants meet every Monday for six consecutive weeks to learn about Russian alphabets, pronunciations, basic conversation skills, history, and culture.
Russia is the largest country in the world by surface area, covering more than one-eighth of the Earth's inhabited land area, and the 9th most populous with over 140 million people. In addition to demonstrating the pronunciation of Russian alphabets and vocabulary, the instructor also shares with participants his insight on the strategic significance of Russia under “the Belt and Road Initiative” and his travelling experience to this vast country.
