Guided Tour on Arab and Islamic Culture

On 17 May, participants of the Maritime Silk Road Society’s Arabic Language and Islamic Culture Exploration visited the Masjid Ammar & O.R. Sadick Islamic Centre at Oi Kwan Road, Wanchai. The guided tour included a presentation by the Da’wah Worker and a visit to the temple to see how the Islamic followers pray in order to deepen participants’ understanding of the history of the mosque, Islamic culture, impact of religion in Hong Kong and its international influence.
The tour concluded with a dim sum lunch at the centre for participants to enjoy the halal food and experience the authentic taste of Islamic cuisine.
