Guided Tour on “Miles upon Miles: World Heritage along the Silk Road” & Lunch Gathering
The Maritime Silk Road Society (MSRS) and the Savantas Liberal Arts Academy (SLAA) are organizing a guided tour on “Miles upon Miles: World Heritage along the Silk Road” and a lunch gathering. The focus of this exhibition is on the Routes Network of Chang'an-Tianshan Corridor of the Silk Road which spans four mainland provinces (Shaanxi, Henan, Gansu and Xinjiang), Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. Showcasing some 160 items/sets of the cultural relics from China, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, the exhibition aims at illustrating the historical and cultural significance of this Routes Network.

Time: Gathering / 11:00 a.m. (Guided tour to be conducted in Cantonese will last for an hour.)
Lunch / 12:30 – 1:30 pm
Venue: Hong Kong Museum of History

Target Audience: Members of MSRS, Students and Alumni of SLAA ONLY
Fee: HK$100, including Tour & Lunch in a trendy bread and coffee shop (Milan-style Panini, salad, French toast, drink).

All successful applicants please visit MSRS (Flats A-B, 11/F, China Overseas Building, 139 Hennessy Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong) on or before deadline specified in the confirmation email and pay $100 with cash or cheque. (Cheque made payable to “Maritime Silk Road Society”)
Failure to pay the full fee before the deadline will be treated as forfeiting the reservation.
