Belt and Road Video Competition Awards Presentation Ceremony


       The awards presentation ceremony for the video competition on the Belt and Road Initiative, organized by Centum Charitas Foundation and China Academy of Culture with Maritime Silk Road Society (MSRS) and CTY 100 as co-organizers, was held at Hong Kong Olympic House on 18 November (Saturday).  After an assessment by a professional judging panel, the champions, the first runners-up, the second runners-up and other merit winners were presented with awards and MSRS Cups for their outstanding entries from Secondary School Division and Youth Division.

       The ceremony was officiated by Mr Kevin Yeung Yun-hung, Secretary for Education; Mr Yang Cheng Wei, Deputy Director-General, Department of Youth Affairs, Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the HKSAR; Ms Eunice Yung, Legislative Councillor; Mr Lee Man Chun Raymond, Chairman of Centum Charitas Foundation; Ms Wu Jianfang, Managing Director of China Academy Of Culture; Mr Kwok Yat Ming, CEO of CTY100; and Mr Alex Wong, CEO of MSRS. About 200 guests, including teachers and students from participating schools, also attended the ceremony.

       “The MSRS Cups were presented to encourage young people to have a better understanding of the Belt and Road Initiative. Furthermore, the trophy winners will be able to participate in a cultural exploration tour to be organized by MSRS for youths to learn about the culture along the Belt and Road,” said Mr Wong, CEO of MSRS.
