Chinese Culture Writing Competition 2016 Award Presentation Ceremony

On 6 November, the Hong Kong Secondary School Student Chinese Culture Writing Competition 2016, organized by the China Academy of Culture Limited, has come to a successful conclusion with an award presentation ceremony.
The competition was organized with an aim to raise awareness on the magnificence of Chinese culture among teenagers. The participants had to go through a rigorous process of adjudication comprising rounds of written tests and face to face interviews with judges. Award winners were well-deserved participants with outstanding performance in all rounds of tests.
As co-organiser of the competition, the Maritime Silk Road Society offered special prizes to one upper form student and one lower form student for their excellent performance. Mr Alex Wong, CEO of the Society, presented coupons to these two students at the presentation ceremony. These students will take part in the“Xi’an Cultural Tour” organized by Maritime Silk Road Society and co-organized by China Academy of Culture Limited for local students to visit the starting point of the Silk Road during the Christmas holidays on 24-27 December. The four-day trip will include a seminar related to “the Belt and Road Initiative”, viewing of Terracotta Army, visit to the Shaanxi Provincial Museum and the aircraft museum, etc. Students will learn more about the history of Xi’an, its latest development in aerospace technology and its strategic position under “the Belt and Road Initiative”.
